Nancy Soans brings a diverse professional and administrative background to ACC+ ranging from risk management and Workers’ Comp. cost containment consulting to nearly 20 years working in a tax and investment practice where she opened and serviced client investment accounts using her Series 7 and 24 licenses. Nancy has created and led a variety of professional training programs and has always been an advocate for women’s issues. Having lived in the Pacific NW briefly, she served on the BOD for a women’s group where she spearheaded self-defense training for girls and women, and launched a Human Trafficking public awareness campaign near the Canadian border. She serves as a Notary Public, loves learning, is a graduate of UCSB, and has taken many subsequent classes at UC and SBCC. She is a member of the UC Alumni association and is a graduate of the SB Women’s Economic Ventures program. In her spare time Nancy enjoys gardening, painting, and spending time with her family and Cockapoo.
