Employers: You Must Post This Notice For The Families First Coronavirus Response Act
The new Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requires covered employers to provide employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. All employers covered by the FFCRA must post the notice in a conspicuous place to advise all current employees of their rights under the Act. Provisions apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
What to do:
If your workforce is currently working remotely, posting requirements can be met by either emailing or direct mailing the notice to employees or by posting the notice on an employee informational internal or external website. There is also no requirement yet to post the notice in multiple languages at this time.
To ensure that you remain current with all notice requirements, periodically visit the Department of Labor’s website.
