As CFO at Accountability Plus, Karsten is a member of the Leadership team and a company director. In the role of CFO, he provides strategic financial planning, forecasting, and cash & equity management. As a director, he guides new client onboarding management, mentors and trains staff in operations processes, and oversees ERP, Web, POS, and Middleware systems, including SOP and training.
An accomplished and multi-faceted Business Strategist, Karsten has an impressive list of competencies that covers a wide variety of diverse industries and skill sets. He has long served as Business Strategist for San Francisco-based Ntropic. His career includes constructing and negotiating high value agreements on behalf of senior leadership that involve all financial management functions. In addition, he has created and managed joint ventures and partnerships and served as a mentor to financial staff.
Karsten is multi-lingual, speaking German, English, Spanish, and French. He holds degrees from UCSB in Business Economics and German and attended USC’s Master’s degree program in International Political Economics. He earned his MS from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is currently a Board-Certified Acupuncturist.
Karsten enjoys spending time with his family and, in his spare time, surfs, reads, and travels the world.
