Dani Arellanes has seven years of experience in the accounting industry. She began her career in the tax department of a software company before transitioning to a role as a bookkeeper at Accountability Plus. Originally from Santa Barbara, Dani has recently settled in Irvine with her fiancé. She graduated with Honors from UC Irvine, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Accounting, and later earned her associate’s degree in accounting from Santa Barbara City College. In her spare time, Dani enjoys kickboxing, Pilates, traveling, and dancing.

CEO of Accountability Plus, Karen founded the company in 1999 after bookkeeping for nine years at a Silicon Valley commercial real estate firm and two Santa Barbara CPA firms. Her affiliations include Treasurer of the National Association of Women Business Owners, (NAWBO) past VP and current member of the American Payroll Association (APA)–Santa Barbara Chapter, past President of the Santa Barbara Bookkeeper’s Association, and past payroll Instructor at SBCC.
